This project has been initiated by the Korean Nature Art Association, also known as YATOO and it has been the aim of a core number of the members to make this exciting project happen. I was privileged to be invited to South Korea in September 2013 along with 18 other artists, curators and writers to take part in a residency as well as a series of conferences and seminars to help bring this project to fruition. In that time we formed a group, the Global Nomadic Art Project Steering Group, which will allow us as a body to apply for funding, publicise and generally have a stronger united worldwide group and work together.
This was a great opportunity to take Ceangal and the Scottish Highlands to a worldwide audience
Please follow the link below to view the World Nature Art Catalogue, compiled by YATOO. This lists the organisations which are so far forming part of this exciting movement and encompasses many countries and diverse organisations around the globe.
You can also find out more about the well established YATOO organisation here: yatooi.com, as well as links to the conferences, workshops and artists who are members of the Yatoo-i organisation.
